丹麥NorthZealand區計畫於年，在靠近希勒羅德城的綠色景觀中為當地名居民建立一座造價38億丹麥克朗，面積超過平方米的現代化醫院。

關於醫院的設計構想，建築師期望創造一個與附近腓特烈堡宮具有同等標示意義的建築體。醫院建築與自然環境融合，為患者提供一個安全的治療環境，為醫生提供一個舒適的工作環境，為居民提供一個綠色的休閒環境。

TheideaofthenewNorthZealandhospitalhasbeentocreatealandmarkinlinewiththenearbyFrederiksborgCastle-ahospitalwherearchitectureandnaturemergeandformasafeenvironmentforpatients,asuperfunctionalandattractiveworkplaceandagreenrecreationalhavenforallcitizensinthearea.

建築體量有機而柔和，擁有宜人的尺度。周邊的綠色景觀緊緊包裹住建築，建築的綠色屋頂花園又與庭院交織為一體，帶給患者舒適的內外環境。建築整體造型像是柔軟彎曲分叉的線，與北方的希勒羅德城，東南方的火車張和新區發生著關係。

TheHospitalgrowsoutofthelandscapedwoodlands,andconsistentlybringspeopleclosetonaturebothinsideandout,tocreateahealingarchitecturefocusedonthepatient.Thearchitecturalexpressionisthereforealsobasedonanorganic,softandhumanedesign.Treatmentbuildingswithcourtyardsandlandscapedgardensformagreenbasefortheslimbedwardsthatriseabovethehospitalsaccessiblegreenroofs.

一條靈感來源於紐約綠色高線的公共花園長廊穿越複雜的醫院，允許所有人訪問醫院，在欣賞享受美景的同時不影響病房隱私。

主要門診部放在主入口的下層，創造出更高的隱私度。面積巨大的內部區域被集合為多個功能塊。醫院甚至有兒童遊樂空間和可以作為文化聚會場所的圓形劇場。整個建築佈局緊湊，物流高效，工作交通距離短，節省員工交通時間以便他們有更多時間把中心放在患者身上。病房排布在中央街道的兩側，內部空間寬敞而簡潔，用材選擇自然樸實的材料，營造出與外面鄉村景色和諧一致的氛圍，給患者賓至如歸的感受。

Inside,theunifyingcentrallobby,orinternalstreet,formsthefocalpointofthetreatmentfloors-withthelessintensiveoutpatientunitslocatedatthelevelofthemainentrance,whilethemoreintensivetreatmentunitsarelocatedonefloorbelowtocreateahigherdegreeofprivacy.Theinternalintegratesseveralsquareswithplayspacesforchildrenandanamphitheatreramp,whichcanserveasaculturalmeetingplaceorforresearchandteachingevents.
